We are delighted to share that the Department of Physical Education successfully hosted “National Sports Day 2024” on August 29th, 2024.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Anitharaj, Director of Physical Education, followed by an Introduction of our Esteemed Chief Guest Our Principal, Dr. S. Vimalanand, Dr. E. Kumaresan, Dr. T. Janarthanan & Dr. Nethra Prakash and honoured the special guest with Shawl. The National Flag was hoisted by our Principal Dr. S. Vimalanand, Olympic Flag by Special Guest Dr. E. Kumaresan,Director of Physical Education ACET, and Our Achariya Flag by Our Vice Principal Dr. T. Janarthanan.

Special Address about the National Sports day was delivered by our Chief Guest Dr. S. Vimalanand Principal –AASC and Dr. T. Janarthanan Vice Principal & Dr. Nethra Prakash Head-BBA,

honoured the Sports students who participated and achieved in the National and State level competitions in the academic year 2023-2024, 2024-2025.

As a part of the sports day event we conducted various games and sports for both boys and girls through house wise competition like Football, Volleyball, Tennis ball Cricket, Carom & Badminton for the boys. For the Girls Badminton, Carom, Throwball, Leg Cricket and Table Tennis.

The event was expertly coordinated by Mr. Anitharaj, Director of Physical Education, and Mrs. K. Rajalakshmi Physical Directress. Department of Physical Education and the event concluded with a heartfelt gratitude note by Mrs. K. Rajalakshmi Physical Directress, Department of Physical Education.

We sincerely thank our Beloved MD, Respected Principal, Vice Principal, Head of the Departments, Professors, Assistant professors, all the Non-Teaching staff, and the media team for their unwavering support and encouragement.
