We are glad to share with you that, as per the direction of National AIDS Control Organization (*NACO*) and Pondicherry AIDS Control Society (*PACS*), the *RRC* of our college conducted 5 KM Marathon called *RED RUN COMPETITION 2024* on *23.08.2024 ( Friday)* morning from 6 AM to 7 AM. The main aim of the competition has created *awareness on HIV/AIDS* among the students and the public.

The running started from our college and covered some villages ( Uruvaiyar, Thirukanchi) and came back to the starting point. In this event, *20 students from various Department* were participated among them 5 Boys and 3 Girls were selected and awarded with Medals. *Awarded students will be participate on the District level Red Run competition which is going to be conducted by PACS on 29th Aug, 2024 in Puducherry*. Participants were appreciated with certificates.

We take this opportunity to convey my heartfelt thanks to our beloved MD ji, *Dr. J.Arawindhan* for his constant support, our Respected Principal sir, *Dr. S.Vimalanad* for his encouragement and dynamic support and thank our Vice Principal sir *Dr. T.Janarthanan* for his encouraging words and special thanks to our BBA HOD – *Mr. Nethra Prakash* sir, Physical Directors – *Mr. N. Anithraj* and *Mrs. Rajalakshmi*, NSS programme Officer- *Dr. K. Silambarasan* for their constant support. Extending our gratitude to all other HODs, Faculty members and non- teaching staff as well as NSS volunteers and participants to make this event a grand success.
