We are delighted to share that the Department of Commerce successfully hosted a Guest Lecture titled “Entrepreneurs Can Change the World” on August 28th, 2024.

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Sadish Kadhane, Head of the Department of Commerce, followed by an introduction of our Esteemed Resource person. Our Principal, Dr. S. Vimalanand, shared his pleasure in hosting the guest and encouraged the students to change the world through their skills.

The guest lecture was delivered by Dr. G. Seenuvasan, District Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation Institute, MSME-Government of Tamil Nadu. His insightful presentation offered a comprehensive overview of MSMEs and startup ideas for aspiring entrepreneurs. The session also included a brief discussion on patent rights, startup concepts, and innovation-driven entrepreneurial schemes.

The event was expertly coordinated by Dr. J. Manimegalai, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, and concluded with a heartfelt gratitude note by Ms. Suhaani, third-year B.Com (CS) student.
