- The department of Computer Science established in the year 2004.
- Department strives to become a world-class Centre of excellence and to produce versatile students making them ready to be employed in Industry/Higher Education/Research & Development/Entrepreneurship from the day one and capable of cross disciplinary collaboration.
- The Department has formed the following technical departments:
- Department of Computer Science
- Department of Computer Applications
- Department of Information Technology
- Graduates will be successfully employed in the computing profession or will be actively pursuing advanced degrees in computing or a related discipline
- Meritorious Students have received 13 Gold Medals from Pondicherry University since 2004.
- Regarding Placement, 80% of our students have been placed in top MNC’s. Our Recruiters are INFOSYS, SUTHERLAND, INTEGRA, FUTURE GENERALI INSURANCE, WIPRO and TCS.
- Department of Computer Science proudly organizes National Level Inter Collegiate Annual Event DIGITRIX to equip the student with updated knowledge and wisdom in the field of information technology.
- The Department organizes more frequently national level seminars, symposiums, workshops, conferences and webinars on the contemporary topics in the field of Computer Science. So far 25 such Seminars and Conferences organized successfully.
- To up skill the employability skills set to the students, an exclusive placement and career guidance has been offered through the School for Entrepreneurial and Employability Skill Development (SEED), viz. Big Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Cloud Infra etc.
