We are pleased to share that the Department of Commerce successfully organized a *Guest Lecture on “Climbing Up the Corporate Ladder”* on August 9th, 2024.

The event began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Sadish Kadhane, Head of the Department of Commerce. Following the welcome, the guest of Honor was introduced, and our Principal Dr. S. Vimal Anand, felt happy and acknowledged the internship and the placement coordination at Mahindra financial services.

The guest lecture was delivered by *Mr. Nishanth Oliver, Senior HR and State Head at Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services.* His insightful lecture provided a comprehensive overview of the latest trends in recruiting freshers and highlighted the essential skills required for interviews. Mr. Oliver engaged the students by discussing their job expectations and addressing their questions, making the session highly interactive.

The event was skillfully coordinated by Mrs. A. Razia Sultana, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. The session concluded with a heartfelt gratitude note delivered by Ms. Suhani, third-year B.Com (CS) student.
