Plastic Waste Management and Plastic Circularity Programe-2024”* on 13.08.2024 BY NSS unit.

We are glad to share that Achariya Arts and Science college NSS unit organized *“ Plastic Waste Management and Plastic Circularity Programe-2024”* on 13.08.2024 in the college premises.

The welcome address for the event was delivered by *Dr.T.Janarthanan, Vice-Principal of AASC* , followed by Honoring our chief guest and *Special address was delivered by Dr.S Vimal Anand, Principal , Achariya Arts and Science college* .

*Mr. Iyaapan Janakiraman, OSR executive, Bislery International Pvt. Ltd, Chennai,* delivered lectures creating awareness of Plastic pollution and inculcated the students the simplest way to reduce plastic waste is to avoid unnecessary and single use Plastic, and also requested everyone to support businesses who are reducing plastic waste and re-use existing plastic. The session was very interactive and interesting . Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by our NSS volunteers. More than 200 students participated in this program. *The program was organized by Dr.K.Silambarasan* and the arrangements were done by Our *NSS volunteers* .

We extend our heartfelt thanks to *our Beloved Chief Mentor ji* for his constant and unconditional support and we wholeheartedly *thank our Respected Principal Dr.S.Vimal Anand and Vice Principal Dr. T. Janarthanan* for their guidance and support in organizing this event.
