International Yoga day* ” on *19.06.2024 , 20.06 2024 and 21.06.2024 BY NSS UNIT

The *NSS Unit of Achariya Arts and Science college* has participated in Three days “ *International Yoga day* ” on *19.06.2024 (wednesday), 20.06 2024 (Thursday) and 21.06.2024 (Friday)* at Gandhi thidal, Puducherry .The programme was organized by Department of school Education, Department of Higher and Technical education, Directorate of AYUSH , Puducherry Pollution Control committee collaboration with Puducherry National service scheme. The Presidential address was given by our *Hon’ble cheif Minister Thiru N.Rangasamy* . The Theme of the Programme was “ *Yoga for Self and Society* ” and The aim of this programme was “ *Self-realization, to overcome all kinds of sufferings leading to ‘the state of liberation’ (Moksha) or ‘freedom’ (Kaivalya).* ”There are *More than 20 Colleges participated* i n this programme. From our college Myself *Dr. K.Silambarasan, NSS Programme* Officer along with Ten volunteers too part in this programme. We express our sincere gratitude to our *MD Ji and Principal Dr. S. Vimalanand* for their support and guidance.
