Guest Lecture on “Recent Trends in Banking” on August 13th, 2024

We are pleased to inform you that the Department of Commerce has successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Recent Trends in Banking” on August 13th, 2024.

The event began with a welcome address by Dr. D .Sadish Kadhane, Head of the Department of Commerce. Following the welcome address, the resource person was introduced, and our Principal, Dr. S. Vimal Anand, expressed his pleasure in felicitating and inviting the guest.

The guest lecture was delivered by Mr. A. George, M.Com, MBA, M.Phil, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Commerce, St. Theresa Arts and Science College for Women, Tharangambadi. His insightful lecture provided a comprehensive overview of recent trends in the banking sector and various sources of financial assistance for facilitating easy transactions for customers.

The event was skillfully coordinated by Dr. C.Ramesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. The session concluded with a heartfelt note of gratitude delivered by Ms. Anisha, a third-year B.Com student.
