Women Cell 2022 – 2023

The orientation session for all the girl students of first year has been successfully organized by the WOMEN CELL of the college Yesterday (09.09.2022).

The program started with a welcome address delivered by the WOMEN CELL president Mrs. A Diana Vinster Nadeen Assistant Professor, department of Mathematics,  followed by honour the Chief Guest by the Vice President of WOMEN CELL, Mrs. Mangaiyarkarasi , Head, Department of Visual Communication. and  Importance and need of the training program was delivered to the students by the vice principal, Dr. Janarthanan.  The training session was handled by the chief guest

Living life with love, integrity, freedom and empathy(L.I.F.E skills ) motivational speaker. The training session was all about how to be a strong and successful girl in this society. The students participated interactively throughout the session and shared their feedbacks too. Finally The note of gratitude was delivered by the WOMEN CELL members Dr. Rajalakshmi, IQAC coordinator, Assistant Professor of Biotechnology.

 

 

 

Enrichment on Mental Health by Dr. T. Ram Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry and CRRI, Sri Lakshmi Narayan Institute of Medical Sciences,  conducted exclusively for all the women fraternity of Achariya Arts and Science college on 22.09.2022.

The program was organised by WOMEN CELL, it divinely started with the lighting of the lamp and prayer song. Which was continued with a Welcome address by the Dr. Charumathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce.

Followed by Honouring the Chief guests:-

Dr. Rishab by Mr. Netra Prakash, Head, Department of Business Administration,

Dr. Lakshmi Narasimhan by Mrs. Diana Vinster Nadeen, President of Women cell,

Mr. Bupesh Rajan by Dr. Umamagechavary, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil and

Mr. Rahiman Basha by Mrs. G. Shanmugapriya, Assistant Professor Department of Mathematics.

Women cell presidential note was addressed by Mrs. Diana Vinster Nadeen, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics and Vice Principal, Dr. Janarnthanan addressed the gathering with his inspiring talk.

The session was then handed over to the Resource person Dr. T. Ram Kumar.

He presented wonderfully about the importance of mental health. He also gave a brief idea about the Causes, Symptoms and remedies for mental illness. The  Whole section was interactive and informative. Then the gratitude note was given by Dr. Charumathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. Finally the program ended with our National Anthem.
